Johnstown, CO - March 15, 2020 -- Town of Johnstown officials have decided to close all non-emergency town facilities in response to COVID-19 and the four presumptive positive cases, one in Larimer and three in Weld County.

To protect the health, safety, and well-being of community members and staff, this closure will go into effect starting March 16, 2020 and continue until March 30, 2020. Town officials will periodically reassess the need for these closures and will adjust as needed to continue to care for and protect the health and safety of our community.

The closure includes the following buildings and events:

  • Town Hall, 450 S. Parish Avenue
  • Public Works, 201 S. 1st Place
  • Community Center (Senior Center), 101 Charlotte Street
  • Municipal Court, 450 S. Parish Avenue
  • Police Department Headquarters, 430 S. Parish Avenue
  • Police Substation, 4890 Ronald Reagan Boulevard

The Town Hall will open only for two upcoming events: the Town Council meeting at 7pm on March 16, 2020 and Town Council Working Session to take place March 21, 2020. The town asks community members and council members to be proactive and cautious in assessing their personal health and the health of others when attending an open meeting at this time
