The Building Department is a member of the International Code Council (ICC) and the Colorado Chapter of the International Code Council (CCICC)

Responsibilities

The Johnstown Building Department is responsible for administering the Town adopted building codes to promote the health, safety and welfare of our community.

Services

The Building Department offers the following services:

• Conducting plan review
• Processing building permits
• Conducting inspections
• Issuing certificates of occupancy
• Building code enforcement
