When a property is zoned PUD Planned Unit Development or CB Central Business District there are certain zoning approvals that are required before building permits or development may occur. Please contact the Town Planner concerning more detail application information.

Please note that several Developments - 2534, Iron Horse, Johnson's Corner and I-25 Gateway Center - have special requirements which may include Design Guidelines, additional land uses.

In addition to Town review, applications are referred to interested or affected outside agencies, including:
Johnstown Fire protection District, Weld RE-5J and Thompson R2-J School Districts, Thompson Rivers Parks and Recreation District, Loveland Fire Authority, nearby communities, Larimer County, Weld County, Xcel Energy, United Power, CDOT, Colorado Division of Wildlife, Office of Petroleum Safety, irrigation Ditch Companies, Postal Service. Depending upon the type and location of the application, applicants may wish to contact agencies to determine their needs.
